Benton Franklin County Bar Association Annual Civil Litigation Seminar - May 16, 2025
Thanks everyone for making our Eastern District Annual CLE and Convention a success. Time for a Save the Date for some of our friends over in Benton-Franklin County. Please attend if you can!
It’s the first Monday in October—and SCOTUS is back in session. Last term SCOTUS altered the legal landscape. There is now a “tombstone” on the Chevron deference doctrine after forty years. The mass tort Purdue Pharma settlement in bankruptcy court was blocked. The previous term, decades-old Roe v. Wade precedent was overturned.
On Friday, May 16, 2025, the BFCBA Federal Civil Litigation Seminar will cover this term’s SCOTUS decisions, and Ninth Circuit cases, and how they impact your clients. Save the date now - more details and registration in the months ahead.
